We are just completing our second week at school and the new normal of washing hands, sanitising, and social distancing  has become second nature to us. This week we started our Hip Hop lessons with Caitlyn. It was hard but fun. By the end of 6 weeks we will have learnt the whole dance.

Hi there, here we are back at school. enjoying our bigger bubbles, practising social distancing and reconnecting with our class mates. It is fun to be back at school but it is different.

Distance learning

The first week of distance learning

As the lockdown, due to the coronavirus, forces us to stay in our bubbles, learning takes on a new form. Class sites become important places to access the learning and children meet up using zoom.

Check out some of the fun things we have done while learning during lockdown.

Basketball

Room 15 really enjoy our basketball sessions with the coach.

Today we learnt an important acronym to help us with our shooting, BEEF

B= Balance

E= Elbow placement

E= Eyes

F= Follow through

Using this helped some of us with our shooting.

                      Swimming with Life Jackets

Today the swimming coaches brought life jackets to school for our swimming lesson. What fun.

We learnt how to make sure they fit us properly and how it helps us stay safe  in the water.

SWIMSATION AT MRS

We are learning the skills of water safety from the swimsation instructors.  For our first session, we learned about how to enter and exit the pool safely from the sides of the pool.
